Critical Tip: Use a high-pass filter (HPF) on your EQ to remove all frequencies below 100Hz on the Mid Bass. You want the Sub Bass to handle the heavy lifting while the Mid Bass provides the texture. If they both have low-end energy, your mix will turn into a muddy mess.

3. The Bass Fill

Every 8 or 16 bars, you need a "reset." We’ve included a dedicated Bass Fill track. This is usually a short, aggressive FM-style bass hit or a quick slide. It tells the listener, "Something is changing."

Section 1: The Melody (Keep it Simple!)

One of the biggest mistakes I see producers make is overcomplicating the melody. Tech House isn't Melodic Techno or Trance. If your melody is too busy, it distracts from the groove.
