The LOUDDAR Workflow: How We Can Level You Up
OUR STORY
he LOUDDAR story kicks here! We are based in Sydney, Australia and formerly SIDELOUD Beats. Marc En3rgy, our founder and Sydney based DJ, began DJing during his final years of high school in 2016-17 prior to entering university in 2018. During that time, he started producing on GarageBand and then Logic Pro, where most production problems were experienced. These included the lack of layered tracks, too much distortion and unnecessary over-compression, resulting in a five year delay of music releases.
Improvements began in 2019 when Marc En3rgy undertook 3 elective units of music production with Ableton. That's when the production changed forever with his signature bass house sound. This flourished in the next two years when the pandemic of COVID-19 forced everyone to stay at home and invest in themselves. Artists, DJs and Producers, this is a must! In the same year, festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Festival X have had a massive influence on the founder himself
By the end of 2021, when clubs began to reopen, production on Logic Pro and Ableton gradually improved when the following elements were added: Layering of Tracks, Optional compression and the use of plugins to boost creativity. Meanwhile, Marc En3rgy started becoming a world class DJ by investing into Pioneer's DDJ-FLX6 controller and Rekordbox software. You get to improve over time as an artist, but SIDELOUD is one source of help!
Our founder Marc En3rgy entered a DJ competition in 2022 known as YourShot; this DJ competition changed his life forever and given the strong, energetic aftermath, a new micro business idea was to rise! In addition, Marc En3rgy's recent experimentation with Tech House, Bass House and Slap House fully upgraded his tastes. This idea was influenced by not only YourShot itself, but also to famous DJ and Producer YouTubers such as DJ Carlo Atendido, Digital DJ Tips, CrossFader DJ, DJ Phil Harris and more. After months of research and planning, SIDELOUD will come to life!
2023 onwards has become the year of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and DJs in Australia. After a visit from Ultra Music Festival in Melbourne, Australia by the founder, our Instagram and YouTube accounts were opened in time for the upcoming YourShot competitions in Australian States and worldwide music festival Tomorrowland! Plenty of tips, tutorials and tricks to help all of you transform from bedroom to superstar! You can find us on TikTok very soon!
If you started producing or DJing right ahead of us, just keep going and do what motivates you! Your personal wellbeing and passion is your priority. Your track or DJ mix will be awesome if you apply the correct techniques and create your unique sound! Of course, mixing will never be an issue! We will help you!
From March 2, 2024, SIDELOUD has rebranded to LOUD PUNCH and LOUDDAR in November 2024 (removing the word 'Punch' to avoid a violent brand image) in an effort to increase brand awareness.
